Regulations Concerning Priests
21 Thena Yahweh said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, Aaron’s sons, and say to them, ‘One must not make himself unclean for a dead person among his own people, 2 except for his direct relative closest to him: his mother and his father, and his son and his daughter, and his brother, 3 and for his sister, a virgin, who is closest to him, ⌊who has not had a husband⌋b—for her he may defile himself. 4 He must not make himself unclean as ⌊a kinsman by marriage⌋,c defiling himself.
5 “ ‘And they shall not shave bald patches on their head, and they shall not shave off the corner of their beard, and they shall not make a cut in their body. 6 They shall be holy to their God, and they shall not profane the name of their God, because they are bringing near the offerings made by fire tod Yahweh—their God’s food—and they shall be holy.
7 “ ‘They shall not ⌊marry⌋e a woman who is a prostitute and defiled, nor shall they ⌊marry⌋f a woman divorced from her husband, because each priestg is holy for his God. 8 And you shall consecrate him, because he is bringing near your God’s food; he shall be holy to you, since I, Yahweh, who consecrates you, am holy.
9 “ ‘As forh the daughter of any priest, if she is defiled by prostituting, she is disgracing her father—she shall be burned in the fire.
10 “ ‘As fori the priest who is higher than his brothers, on whose head the oil of anointment is poured and ⌊he was ordained⌋j to wear the garments, he shall not dishevel his head, and he shall not tear his garments. 11 And he shall not go near any dead person, nor shall he make himself unclean for his father ork for his mother. 12 And he shall not go out from the sanctuary, and he shall not profane his God’s sanctuary, because the dedication of his God’s oil of anointment is on him; I am Yahweh.
13 “ ‘And he himself must take a wife in her virginity. 14 A widow orl a divorced woman orm a defiled woman, a prostitute—these he must not take; he shall take onlyn a virgin from his people as wife. 15 And he shall not profane his offspring among his people, because I am Yahweh, who consecrates him.’ ”
16 Theno Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 17 “Speak to Aaron, saying, ‘A man from your offspring throughout their generations, in whom is a physical defect, shall not come near to present your God’s food. 18 Indeed,p any man in whom is a physical defect shall not come near: a blind man or lame or disfigured or deformed, 19 or a man in whom is a broken foot or a broken hand, 20 or a hunchback or a dwarf, or a spot in his eye or a skin disorder or a skin eruption or a crushed testicle. 21 Any man from Aaron the priest’s offspring in whom is a physical defect shall not come near to present offerings made by fire toq Yahweh; a physical defect is in him; he shall not come near to present his God’s food. 22 He may eat his God’s food, from ⌊the most holy things⌋r and from the holy things. 23 But he must not enter the curtain, and he must not come near to the altar, because a physical defect is in him, and he must not profane my sanctuary, because I am Yahweh, who consecrates them.’ ”
24 Thuss Moses spoke to Aaron and to his sons and to all the ⌊Israelites⌋.t
22 Thena Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Tellb Aaron and his sonsc thatd they must deal respectfully with the ⌊Israelites⌋’e votive offerings, and they must not profane my holy name, which they are consecrating to me; I am Yahweh.
3 “Say to them, ‘Throughout your generations, any man from any of your offspring who comes near the votive offerings that the ⌊Israelites⌋f consecrate to Yahweh withg his uncleanness on him, that person shall be cut offh from ⌊before me⌋;i I am Yahweh.
4 “ ‘⌊Anyone⌋j from Aaron’s offspring, ifk he is afflicted with a skin disease or a fluid discharge, shall not eat in the sanctuary ⌊until⌋l he is clean; and the one who touches any unclean person or a man from whom an emission of semen goes out, 5 or a man who touches any swarmer that is unclean for him or who touches a person who is unclean for him ⌊due to⌋m whatever his uncleanness, 6 a person who touches such a thingn shall be unclean until the evening, and he shall not eat from the votive offerings, excepto when he washesp his body with water 7 and ⌊the sun sets⌋,q and he shall be clean; thenr afterward he may eat from the votive offerings, because it is his food. 8 He shall not eat a naturally dead body ors a mangled carcass, ⌊so that he becomes unclean⌋t by it; I am Yahweh.
9 “ ‘And they shall keep my obligation, and they shall not incur guilt because of it, so thatu they die through it, because they have profaned it; I am Yahweh who consecrates them.
10 “ ‘⌊No stranger shall eat⌋v the votive offering; nor shall a temporary resident withw a priest orx a hired worker eat the votive offering. 11 Buty a priest, if with his money he buys a person as ⌊his possession⌋,z that one may eat it, and the descendants of his house themselves may eat his food. 12 And a priest’s daughter, when ⌊she marries a layman⌋,a she herself may not eat ⌊the votive offering⌋.b 13 Butc a priest’s daughter, when she becomes a widow ord divorced or there is no offspring for her, and she returns to her father’s house as in her childhood, she may eat from her father’s food, bute ⌊no layman may eat it⌋.f 14 And if a man eats the votive offering unintentionally, theng he shall add to it a fifth of it, and he shall give the votive offering to the priest. 15 And they shall not profane the ⌊Israelites⌋’h votive offerings that they present to Yahweh, 16 and so cause them, by their eating their votive offerings, to bear guilt requiring a guilt offering, because I am Yahweh, who consecrates them.’ ”
17 Theni Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 18 “Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the ⌊Israelites⌋,j and say to them, ‘Anyone from the house of Israel ork from the alien in Israel who presents his offering for any of their vows orl for any of their freewill offerings that they present to Yahweh as a burnt offering, 19 it must be without defect ⌊to be acceptable for you⌋:m a male among the cattle, among the sheep, orn among the goats. 20 You shall not present any animal in which is a physical defect, because it shall not be ⌊acceptable⌋o for you. 21 And if anyone brings a sacrifice of fellowship offerings for Yahweh to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering fromp the cattle or fromq the flock,r it must be without defect ⌊to be acceptable⌋;s there must not be any physical defect in it. 22 The blind or the injured or the maimed or the seeping or one with a skin disorder or one with a skin eruption—these you shall not present to Yahweh, nor shall you give from them an offering made by fire on the altar for Yahweh. 23 As fort an ox or sheep that is deformed oru that is stunted, you may present it as a freewill offering, butv for a vow it will not be accepted. 24 And you shall not present anything for Yahweh with bruised orw shattered orx torn ory cut-off testicles, and you shall not ⌊sacrifice⌋z such in your land. 25 And you shall not present your God’s food from any of these by the hand of ⌊a foreigner⌋,a because their deformity is in them; a physical defect is in them; they shall not be accepted for you.’ ”
26 Thenb Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, thenc it shall be under its mother for seven days, and from the eighth day and beyond it is acceptable as an offering made by fire for Yahweh. 28 And you shall not slaughter an ox or a sheep and ⌊its young⌋d on ⌊the same day⌋.e 29 And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Yahweh, you must sacrifice it to be acceptable for you. 30 It must be eaten on that day; you must not leave over anything from it until morning; I am Yahweh.
31 “Thusf you shall keep my commands, and you shall do them; I am Yahweh.
32 “And you shall not profane my holy name, so that I may be consecrated in the midst of the ⌊Israelites⌋;g I am Yahweh, who consecrates you, 33 the one who brought you out from the land of Egypt to be as God for you; I am Yahweh.”
23 Thena Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,b and say to them, ‘The festivals of Yahweh that you shall proclaim are holy assemblies; these are my appointed times.
3 “ ‘For six days work is to be done, and on the seventh day shall be ⌊a Sabbath of complete rest⌋,c a holy assembly; you shall not do any work; it shall be a Sabbath for Yahweh in all your dwellings.
4 “ ‘These are Yahweh’s appointed times, holy assemblies, which you shall proclaim atd their appointed time. 5 In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month at the evening is Yahweh’s Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of this month is Yahweh’s Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day there shall be a holy assembly for you; you shall not do ⌊any regular work⌋.e 8 And you shall present an offering for Yahweh made by fire for seven days; on the seventh day there shall be a holy assembly; you shall not do ⌊any regular work⌋.’ ”f
9 Theng Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 10 “Speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,h and say to them, ‘When you come to the land that I am about to give to you and you reap its harvest, theni you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruit of your harvest to the priest. 11 And he shall wave the sheaf ⌊before⌋j Yahweh for your acceptance; the priest shall wave it ⌊on the day after⌋k the Sabbath. 12 And on the day of your waving the sheaf you shall ⌊offer⌋l a ⌊yearling⌋m male lamb without defect as a burnt offering to Yahweh. 13 And its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephahn of finely milled flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire for Yahweh, an appeasing fragrance; and its libation shall be a fourth of a hino of wine. 14 And you shall not eat bread orp roasted grain orq ripe grain until ⌊this very same day⌋,r until you present your God’s offering. This must be ⌊a lasting statute⌋s for your generations in all your dwellings.
15 “ ‘And you shall count for yourselves ⌊from the day after⌋t the Sabbath, from the day of your bringing the wave offering’s sheaf—there shall be seven full weeks. 16 Until ⌊the day after⌋u the seventh Sabbath you shall count fifty days; thenv you shall present a new grain offering for Yahweh. 17 You shall bring from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread ⌊made with⌋w two-tenths of an ephahx of finely milled flour; they must be baked with leaven—the firstfruits ⌊belonging to⌋y Yahweh. 18 And, in addition to the bread, you shall present seven ⌊yearling⌋z male lambs without defects and one ⌊young bull⌋a and two rams—they shall be a burnt offering for Yahweh withb their grain offering and their libations, an offering made by fire, an appeasing fragrance for Yahweh. 19 And you shall ⌊offer⌋c one he-goat as a sin offering and two ⌊yearling⌋d male lambs as a sacrifice of fellowship offerings. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering ⌊before⌋e Yahweh; in addition to the two male lambs, they shall be holy for Yahweh for the priest. 21 And ⌊you shall make a proclamation⌋f on ⌊this very same day⌋;g it shall be a holy assembly for you; you shall not do ⌊any regular work⌋;h this is a ⌊lasting statute⌋i in all your dwellings throughoutj your generations. 22 And when youk reap the harvest of yourl land, youm must not finish the edge of yourn field at your reaping, and youo must not glean the remnants of yourp harvest—youq shall leave them behind for the needy and for the alien; I am Yahweh yourr God.’ ”
23 Thens Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,t saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ⌊you must have⌋u a rest period, a remembrance of the trumpet blast, a holy assembly. 25 You must not do ⌊any regular work⌋,v and you shall present an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’ ”
26 Thenw Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 27 “Surely the Day of Atonement is on the tenth day of the seventh month; it shall be a holy assembly for you, and you shall deny yourselves, and you shall present an offering made by fire to Yahweh. 28 And you must not do ⌊any regular work⌋x on ⌊this very same day⌋,y because it is the Day of Atonement to make atonement for you ⌊before⌋z Yahweh your God. 29 If there is any person who does not deny himself on ⌊this very same day⌋,a thenb he shall be cut off from his people. 30 As forc any person who does any work on ⌊this very same day⌋,d I will exterminate that person from the midst of his people. 31 You must not do any work; it is a ⌊lasting statute⌋e throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 32 It is ⌊a Sabbath of complete rest⌋f for you, and you shall deny yourselves on the ninth day of the month in the evening—from evening to evening you must observe your extraordinaryg Sabbath.”
33 Thenh Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 34 “Speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,i saying, ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, this shall be the Feast of Booths for seven days for Yahweh. 35 On the first day there shall be a holy assembly; you must not do any ⌊regular work⌋.j 36 For seven days you must present an offering made by fire to Yahweh. On the eighth day it shall be a holy assembly for you, and you shall present an offering made by fire to Yahweh; it is a celebration; you must not do ⌊any regular work⌋.k
37 “ ‘These are Yahweh’s festivals, which you must proclaim, holy assemblies to present an offering made by fire to Yahweh—burnt offering and grain offering, sacrifice and libations, ⌊each on its proper day⌋l— 38 ⌊besides⌋m Yahweh’s Sabbaths and ⌊besides⌋n your gifts and ⌊besides⌋o your vows and ⌊besides⌋p all your freewill offerings that you give to Yahweh.
39 “ ‘Surely on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, at your gathering the land’s produce, you shall hold Yahweh’s festival for seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest period and on the eighth day a rest period. 40 And on the first day you shall take for yourselves the first fruit of majestic trees, branches of palm trees and branchesq of a leafy tree and of a brook’s poplar trees, and you shall rejoice ⌊before⌋r Yahweh your God for seven days. 41 And you must hold it as a festival for Yahweh for seven days in the year; it shall be a ⌊lasting statute⌋s throughout your generations; in the seventh month you must hold it. 42 You must live in the booths for seven days; all the natives in Israel must live in the booths, 43 so that your generations shall know that I made the ⌊Israelites⌋t live in booths when I brought them from the land of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God.’ ”
44 Thusu Moses announced to the ⌊Israelites⌋v Yahweh’s appointed times.
The Sanctuary’s Lamp and Bread
24 Thena Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Command the ⌊Israelites⌋b thatc they should bring to you pure olive oil from beaten olives for the light to ⌊present⌋d a lamp continually. 3 Aaron shall arrange for it ⌊outside⌋e the curtain of the testimony in the tent of assembly from evening until morning ⌊before⌋f Yahweh continually; it shall be a ⌊lasting statute⌋g throughout your generations. 4 On the pure goldenh lampstand he shall arrange for the lamps ⌊before⌋i Yahweh continually.
5 “And you shall take finely milled flour, and you shall bake with it twelve ring-shaped bread cakes: each one shall be two-tenths of an ephah. 6 And you shall place them in two rows, six to the row, on the pure goldj table ⌊before⌋k Yahweh. 7 And you shall put pure frankincense on eachl row so thatm it shall be for the bread as a memorial offering, an offering made by fire for Yahweh. 8 ⌊On every Sabbath⌋n he shall arrange it in rows ⌊before⌋o Yahweh continually; they are from the ⌊Israelites⌋p as an everlastingq covenant. 9 And it shall be for Aaron and for his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, because it is ⌊a most holy thing⌋r for him from Yahweh’s offerings made by fire—a ⌊lasting rule⌋.”s
10 And an Israelite woman’s son, and he was an Egyptian man’s son, went out in the midst of the ⌊Israelites⌋;t and the Israelite woman’s son and anu Israelite man fought in the camp. 11 Thenv the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the name, and he cursed, sow they brought him to Moses—and the name of his mother was Shelomith the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. 12 Thenx they put him in custody ⌊so that⌋y the matter might be made clear to them in accordance with the mouth of Yahweh.
13 Thenz Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 14 “Bring the curser ⌊outside the camp⌋,a and all the hearers shall place their hands on his head, and the whole community shall stone him. 15 And you shall speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,b saying, ‘⌊Any man⌋c when he curses his God shall beard his sin. 16 And he who blasphemes Yahweh’s name certainly shall be put to death; the whole community certainly shall stone him. As the alien, so the native shall be put to death at blaspheming his name.
17 “ ‘And when a man kills any human being, he certainly shall be put to death. 18 And ⌊he who kills⌋e a domestic animal must repay for it life in place of life. 19 And when a man ⌊causes⌋f a physical defect in his fellow citizen ⌊according to⌋g what he has done, so it shall be done to him: 20 fracture in place of fracture, eye in place of eye, tooth in place of tooth—⌊according to⌋h the physical defect he ⌊causes⌋i to the person, likewise it shall be ⌊caused⌋j to him. 21 And a killer of a domestic animal must repay for it, and a killer of a human shall be put to death. 22 ⌊You must have⌋k one norm; as for the alien, sol it must be for the native, because I am Yahweh your God.’ ”
23 Thusm Moses spoke to the ⌊Israelites⌋,n and they brought the curser ⌊outside the camp⌋,o and they stoned him with stones, and the ⌊Israelites⌋p did just as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
25 Thena Yahweh spoke to Moses on ⌊Mount Sinai⌋,b saying, 2 “Speak to the ⌊Israelites⌋,c and say to them, ‘When youd come into the land that I am about to give to you,e thenf the land shall observe a Sabbath for Yahweh. 3 Six years youg shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and you shall gather its yield. 4 Buth in the seventh year it shall be ⌊a Sabbath of complete rest⌋i for the land—a Sabbath for Yahweh; youj must not sow your field, and you must not prune your vineyard. 5 Youk must not reap your harvest’s aftergrowth, and you must not harvest the grapes of your unpruned vines—it shall be ⌊a year of complete rest⌋l for the land. 6 And a Sabbath of the land shall be for food for you:m for youn and for your slave and for your slave woman and for your hired worker and for your temporary residentso who are dwelling as aliens with you; 7 and all its yield shall be for yourp domestic animal and for the wild animal, which are in your land to eat.
8 “ ‘And youq shall count for yourself seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years, and they shall be for you ⌊time periods of⌋r seven Sabbaths of years: ⌊forty-nine⌋s years. 9 And yout shall cause ⌊a loud horn blast⌋u to be heard on the seventh month on the tenth of the month; on the Day of Atonement youv shall cause a ram’s horn to be heard in all yourw land. 10 And youx shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and you shall proclaim a release in the land for all its inhabitants. It is a Jubilee; it shall be for you, and you shall return. You must return—everyone to his property and everyone to his clan.y 11 ⌊Youz shall have the fiftieth year as a Jubilee⌋;a you must not sow and you must not reap its aftergrowth, and you must not harvest its unpruned vines. 12 Because it is a Jubilee, it shall be holy to you. You must eat itsb produce from the field.
13 “ ‘In this Year of Jubilee ⌊each of youc shall return⌋d to his property. 14 And when youe sell something to yourf fellow citizen or you buy from yourg neighbor’s hand, youh must not oppress ⌊one another⌋.i 15 Youj must buy from your fellow citizen according to the number of years after the Jubilee; he must sell to you according to the number of years of yield. 16 Youk must increase its price ⌊according to a greater number of years⌋,l butm you must decrease its price ⌊according to a lesser number of years⌋,n because he is selling its yields to you. 17 And youo must not oppress ⌊one another⌋,p butq your shall revere your God, because I am Yahweh, yours God.
18 “ ‘And yout shall do my statutes, and you must keep my regulations, and you shall do them, so thatu you shall live ⌊securely⌋v on the land. 19 And the land shall give its fruit, and youw shall eat ⌊your fill⌋,x and you shall live ⌊securely⌋y on it. 20 And if youz should say, “What shall we eat in the seventh year, ⌊if⌋a we do not sow and we do not gather its yield?” 21 thenb I will command my blessing for youc in the sixth year, so thatd it will makee the yield for three years. 22 And youf will sow in the eighth year, and you shall eat from the old yield;g until the ninth year, until the coming of its yield, you shall eat the old yield.
23 “ ‘Buth the land must not be sold ini perpetuity, because the land is mine, because youj are aliens and temporary residents with me. 24 And in all yourk property’s land youl must provide redemption for the land.
25 “ ‘When yourm brother becomes poor and he sells part of his property, thenn ⌊his nearest redeemer⌋o shall come, and he shall redeem the thing sold by his brother. 26 Butp ifq a man ⌊does not have⌋r a redeemer, thens ⌊he prospers⌋t and he finds enough for his redemption, 27 thenu he shall calculate the years of its selling, and he shall refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it, and he shall return to his property. 28 Butv if his hand does not find enough to refund to him, thenw ⌊what he has sold⌋x shall be in the buyer’s hand until the Year of Jubilee; and it shall go out of the buyer’s handy in the Jubilee, and he shall return to his property.
29 “ ‘And if a man sells ⌊a residential house in a walled city⌋,z thena it shall be his redemption until completing ⌊a year after his selling⌋;b its redemption ⌊shall last⌋c ⌊a year⌋.d 30 Bute if it is not redeemed ⌊before a full year has passed⌋,f theng the house that is ⌊in the walled city⌋h shall belong to the buyer ini perpetuity throughout his generations; it shall not go out of the buyer’s handj in the Jubilee. 31 However,k village houses that have no surrounding wall shall be considered ⌊open country⌋;l there is redemption for it, and in the Jubilee it shall go out of the buyer’s hand.m
32 “ ‘As forn the cities of the Levites, that is, the houses ino their property’s cities, it shall be ⌊a lasting redemption⌋p for the Levites. 33 And whatever anyone redeems from the Levites thenq must go out of the buyer’s handr in the Jubilee, including a house’s selling ⌊in his city’s property⌋,s because the houses int the cities of the Levites are their property in the midst of the ⌊Israelites⌋.u 34 Butv aw field of their cities’ pastureland must not be sold, because ⌊it is their property for all time⌋.x
35 “ ‘And if youry countrymanz becomes poor and ⌊if he becomes dependent on you⌋,a thenb you shall support him like an alien and like a temporary resident, and he shall live with you. 36 Youc must not take interest ord usury from him, bute you shall revere your God, and your countrymanf shall live with you. 37 Youg must not give your money to him with interest orh give your food fori profit. 38 I am Yahweh yourj God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt to give ⌊you⌋k the land of Canaan, to be as God for you.
39 “ ‘And if yourl countrymanm who is with you becomes poor, and he is sold to you, ⌊you shall not treat him as a slave⌋.n 40 He shall be with you like a hired worker, like a temporary resident; he shall work with you until the Year of Jubilee. 41 And he and his sons with him shall go out from you, and he shall return to his clan, and to the property of his ancestorso he shall return. 42 Because they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they shall not be sold ⌊as a slave⌋.p 43 Youq shall not rule over him with ruthlessness, butr you shall revere your God.
44 “ ‘As fors yourt slave and youru slave woman who arev yours,w from the nations that are all around you,x from them youy may buy a slave orz a slave woman. 45 And youa may buy also from the childrenb of the temporary residents who are dwelling with you as aliens and from their clan who are with you, who have children in your land; indeed,c they may be as property for you. 46 And youd may pass them on as an inheritance to youre sonsf after youg to take possession of as property ⌊for all time⌋h—youi may let them work. Butj as for yourk countrymen,l the ⌊Israelites⌋,m youn shall not rule with ruthlessness over ⌊one another⌋.o
47 “ ‘And if the alien orp the temporary resident who are with youq ⌊prosper⌋,r buts your countrymant who is with him becomes poor and he is sold to an alien, a temporary resident who is with you, or to a descendant of an alien’s clan, 48 after he is sold redemption shall be for him; one of his brothers may redeem him, 49 or his uncle or his uncle’s son may redeem him, or ⌊one of⌋u ⌊his close relatives⌋v from his clan may redeem him; or if ⌊he prospers⌋,w he may redeem himself. 50 And he shall calculate with his buyer from the year of ⌊his selling himself⌋x until the Jubilee; and the value of his selling shall be according to the number of years—it shall be with him likey a hired worker’s days. 51 If there are still many years, ⌊in keeping with them⌋z he shall restore his redemption ⌊in proportion to his purchase price⌋.a 52 And if there are a few years left until the Year of Jubilee, thenb he shall calculate for himself; he shall restore his redemption ⌊according to the number of his years⌋.c 53 He shall be with him ⌊as a yearly hired worker⌋;d he shall not rule over him with ruthlessness ⌊in youre sight⌋.f 54 And if he is not redeemed byg any of these ways,h theni he and his sons with him shall go out in the Year of Jubilee. 55 Indeed,j the ⌊Israelites⌋k are servants for me; they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh yourl God.’ ”
