5 aStand fast therefore in bthe liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with cthe yoke dof bondage. 2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that eif ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. 3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, fthat he is a debtor to do the whole law. 4 gChrist is hbecome of no effect unto you, gwhosoever of you are justified by the law; iye are fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit kwait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 lFor in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but mfaith nwhich worketh by love. 7 Ye odid run well; ||who did phinder you qthat ye should not obey the truth? 8 This persuasion cometh not of rhim that calleth you. 9 sA little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. 10 tI have confidence in you through the Lord, that uye will be none otherwise minded: but whe that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. 11 And I, brethren, xif I yet preach circumcision, ywhy do I yet suffer persecution? then zis the offence of the cross hceased. 12 aI would they were even bcut off which ctrouble you.
13 For, brethren, ye have been called dunto liberty; only euse not liberty for an foccasion to the flesh, but gby love serve one another. 14 For hall the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; iThou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 15 But if ye jbite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another. 16 This I say then, kWalk in the Spirit, land ||mye shall not fulfil nthe lust of the flesh. 17 For othe flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that pye cannot do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye be qled of the Spirit, rye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, stufornication, stvuncleanness, tvwlasciviousness, 20 xIdolatry, ywitchcraft, hatred, zavariance, zaemulations, awrath, abstrife, zseditions, cheresies, 21 dEnvyings, dmurders, edrunkenness, frevellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that gthey which do such things gshall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But hthe fruit of the Spirit is ilove, joy, peace, jklongsuffering, jkgentleness, lgoodness, mfaith, 23 kMeekness, ntemperance: oagainst such there is no law. 24 And they that are Christ’s phave crucified the flesh with the ||affections and lusts. 25 qIf we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 rLet us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
6 Brethren, a||if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye bwhich are spiritual, restore such an one cin the spirit of meekness; dconsidering thyself, lest thou also ebe tempted. 2 fBear ye one another’s burdens, and gso fulfil hthe law of Christ. 3 For iif a man think himself to be something, kwhen he is nothing, lhe deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man mprove his own work, and then nshall he have orejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5 For pevery man shall qbear his own burden. 6 Let him that is rtaught in the word scommunicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 tBe not deceived; uGod is not vmocked: for pwwhatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For xhe that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap ycorruption; but xhe that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And zlet us not abe weary in well doing: for bin due season we shall reap, cif we faint not. 10 dAs we have therefore opportunity, elet us do good unto all men, eeespecially unto them who are of fthe household of faith.
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you gwith mine own hand. 12 hAs many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they iconstrain you to be circumcised; only klest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. 13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. 14 But lGod forbid mthat I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, ||by whom nthe world ois crucified unto me, and I unto the world. 15 pFor in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but qa new creature. 16 And ras many as swalk according to this rule, tupeace be on them, and umercy, and upon vthe tIsrael of God. 17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for wI bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. 18 Brethren, xthe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.
