3 “I have trodden the winepress alone;

from the nations no one was with me.

I trampled them in my anger

and trod them down in my wrath;

their blood spattered my garments,

and I stained all my clothing.

4 It was for me the day of vengeance;

the year for me to redeem had come.

3 I have trodden the winepress alone;

And of the people there was none with me:

For I will tread them in mine anger,

And trample them in my fury;

And their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments,

And I will stain all my raiment.

4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart,

And the year of my redeemed is come.

3 “I have been treading the winepress alone;

no one was there to help me.

In my anger I have trampled my enemies

as if they were grapes.

In my fury I have trampled my foes.

Their blood has stained my clothes.

4 For the time has come for me to avenge my people,

to ransom them from their oppressors.

3 “I have trodden the winepress alone,

And from the peoples no one was with Me.

For I have trodden them in My anger,

And trampled them in My fury;

Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments,

And I have stained all My robes.

4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart,

And the year of My redeemed has come.

3 The Lord answers, “I have walked in the winepress alone,

and no one among the nations helped me.

I was angry and walked on the nations

and crushed them because of my anger.

Blood splashed on my clothes,

and I stained all my clothing.

4 I chose a time to punish people,

and the time has come for me to save.

3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with me: yea, I trod them in mine anger, and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all my raiment. 4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

3 I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples not a man was with me; and I have trodden them in mine anger, and trampled them in my fury; and their blood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all mine apparel. 4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed had come.

3 “I have trampled alone in the winepress. 

No one was with me. 

In my anger I trampled on people. 

In my wrath I stomped on them. 

Their blood splattered my clothes 

so all my clothing has been stained. 

4 I planned the day of vengeance. 

The year for my reclaiming ⸤you⸥ has come.

and no one from the nations was with Me.

I trampled them in My anger

and ground them underfoot in My fury;

their blood spattered My garments,

and all My clothes were stained.

4 For I planned the day of vengeance,

and the year of My redemption came.

3 “I have trodden the wine press alone,

and from the peoples no one was with me;

I trod them in my anger

and trampled them in my wrath;

their juice spattered on my garments,

and stained all my robes.

4 For the day of vengeance was in my heart,

and the year for my redeeming work had come.

3 “I have trodden the winepress alone,

and there was no man from the peoples with me.

And I trod them in my anger,

and I trampled them in my wrath,

and spattered their juice on my garments,

and stained all my clothing,

4 for the day of vengeance was in my heart,

and the year of my blood-vengeance has come!

3 The Lord answers, “I have been stomping on the nations

as if they were grapes.

No one was there to help me.

I walked all over the nations because I was angry.

That is why I stomped on them.

Their blood splashed all over my clothes.

So my clothes were stained bright red.

4 I decided it was time to pay Israel’s enemies back.

The year for me to set my people free had come.

3 “I have trodden the wine trough alone,

And from the peoples there was no man with Me.

I also trod them in My anger

And trampled them in My wrath;

And their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments,

And I stained all My raiment.

4 “For the day of vengeance was in My heart,

And My year of redemption has come.
