Zephaniah 3:9–11 — The New International Version (NIV)

“Then I will purify the lips of the peoples,

that all of them may call on the name of the Lord

and serve him shoulder to shoulder.

10 From beyond the rivers of Cush

my worshipers, my scattered people,

will bring me offerings.

11 On that day you, Jerusalem, will not be put to shame

for all the wrongs you have done to me,

because I will remove from you

your arrogant boasters.

Never again will you be haughty

on my holy hill.

Zephaniah 3:9–11 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

For then will I turn to the people a pure language,

That they may all call upon the name of the Lord,

To serve him with one consent.

10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia

My suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering.

11 In that day shalt thou not be ashamed for all thy doings,

Wherein thou hast transgressed against me:

For then I will take away out of the midst of thee them that rejoice in thy pride,

And thou shalt no more be haughty because of my holy mountain.

Zephaniah 3:9–11 — New Living Translation (NLT)

“Then I will purify the speech of all people,

so that everyone can worship the Lord together.

10 My scattered people who live beyond the rivers of Ethiopia

will come to present their offerings.

11 On that day you will no longer need to be ashamed,

for you will no longer be rebels against me.

I will remove all proud and arrogant people from among you.

There will be no more haughtiness on my holy mountain.

Zephaniah 3:9–11 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

“For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language,

That they all may call on the name of the Lord,

To serve Him with one accord.

10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia

My worshipers,

The daughter of My dispersed ones,

Shall bring My offering.

11 In that day you shall not be shamed for any of your deeds

In which you transgress against Me;

For then I will take away from your midst

Those who rejoice in your pride,

And you shall no longer be haughty

In My holy mountain.

Zephaniah 3:9–11 — New Century Version (NCV)

“Then I will give the people of all nations pure speech

so that all of them will speak the name of the Lord

and worship me together.

10 People will come from where the Nile River begins;

my scattered people will come with gifts for me.

11 Then Jerusalem will not be ashamed

of the wrongs done against me,

because I will remove from this city

those who like to brag;

there will never be any more proud people

on my holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Zephaniah 3:9–11 — American Standard Version (ASV)

For then will I turn to the peoples of a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of Jehovah, to serve him with one consent. 10 From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my suppliants, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. 11 In that day shalt thou not be put to shame for all thy doings, wherein thou hast transgressed against me; for then I will take away out of the midst of thee thy proudly exulting ones, and thou shalt no more be haughty in my holy mountain.

of all your rebellious acts against me.

Then I will remove your arrogance

pure speech to the peoples

so that all of them may call

on the name of Yahweh

and serve Him with a single purpose.

My supplicants, My dispersed people,

will bring an offering to Me.

11 On that day you will not be put to shame

because of everything you have done

your proud, arrogant people from among you,

to serve him in unison.

10 From beyond the rivers of Cush

my worshipers and the daughter of my scattered ones

shall bring my offering.

11 On that day you shall not be humiliated

on account of all your deeds

by which you have rebelled against me.

And they will use their words to worship me.

They will serve me together.

10 My scattered people, you will come to me

from beyond the rivers of Cush.

You will worship me.

You will bring me offerings.

11 You have done many wrong things to me.

But at that time you will not be put to shame anymore.

Then I will remove from this city

those who take delight in their pride.
