2 Timothy 2:10–13 — The New International Version (NIV)

10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.

11 Here is a trustworthy saying:

If we died with him,

we will also live with him;

12 if we endure,

we will also reign with him.

If we disown him,

he will also disown us;

13 if we are faithless,

he remains faithful,

for he cannot disown himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — New Living Translation (NLT)

10 So I am willing to endure anything if it will bring salvation and eternal glory in Christ Jesus to those God has chosen.

11 This is a trustworthy saying:

If we die with him,

we will also live with him.

12 If we endure hardship,

we will reign with him.

If we deny him,

he will deny us.

13 If we are unfaithful,

he remains faithful,

for he cannot deny who he is.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

11 This is a faithful saying:

For if we died with Him,

We shall also live with Him.

12 If we endure,

We shall also reign with Him.

If we deny Him,

He also will deny us.

13 If we are faithless,

He remains faithful;

He cannot deny Himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — New Century Version (NCV)

10 So I patiently accept all these troubles so that those whom God has chosen can have the salvation that is in Christ Jesus. With that salvation comes glory that never ends.

11 This teaching is true:

If we died with him, we will also live with him.

12 If we accept suffering, we will also rule with him.

If we say we don’t know him, he will say he doesn’t know us.

13 If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful,

because he must be true to who he is.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — American Standard Version (ASV)

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him: 12 if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we shall deny him, he also will deny us: 13 if we are faithless, he abideth faithful; for he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

10 For this cause I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 The word is faithful; for if we have died together with him, we shall also live together; 12 if we endure, we shall also reign together; if we deny, he also will deny us; 13 if we are unfaithful, he abides faithful, for he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

10 For that reason, I endure everything for the sake of those who have been chosen so that they, too, may receive salvation from Christ Jesus with glory that lasts forever. 11 This is a statement that can be trusted:

If we have died with him, we will live with him.

12 If we endure, we will rule with him.

If we disown him, he will disown us.

13 If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful

because he cannot be untrue to himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

10 This is why I endure all things for the elect: so that they also may obtain salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. 11 This saying is trustworthy:

For if we have died with Him,

we will also live with Him;

12 if we endure, we will also reign with Him;

if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful,

for He cannot deny Himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

10 Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, so that they may also obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. 11 The saying is sure:

If we have died with him, we will also live with him;

12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;

if we deny him, he will also deny us;

13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—

for he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

10 Because of this, I endure all things for the sake of the chosen, in order that they also may obtain salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. 11 The saying is trustworthy:

For if we died with him, we will also live with him;

12 if we endure, we will also reign with him;

if we deny him, he also will deny us;

13 if we are unfaithful, he remains faithful—he cannot deny himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

10 So I put up with everything for the good of God’s chosen people. Then they also can be saved. Christ Jesus saves them. He gives them glory that will last forever.

11 Here is a saying you can trust.

If we died with him,

we will also live with him.

12 If we don’t give up,

we will also rule with him.

If we say we don’t know him,

he will also say he doesn’t know us.

13 Even if we are not faithful,

he will remain faithful.

He must be true to himself.

2 Timothy 2:10–13 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)

11 It is a trustworthy statement:

For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;

12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him;

If we deny Him, He also will deny us;

13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
