Leviticus 23:10–14

10 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, wWhen you come into the land that I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of xthe firstfruits of your harvest to the priest, 11 and he shall ywave the sheaf before the Lord, so that you may be accepted. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And on the day when you ywave the sheaf, you shall offer a zmale lamb a year old without blemish as a burnt offering to the Lord. 13 aAnd the grain offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah2 of fine flour mixed with oil, a food offering to the Lord with a pleasing aroma, band the drink offering with it shall be of wine, a fourth of a hin.3 14 And you shall eat neither bread nor grain cparched or cfresh until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

10 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. 11 He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath. 12 On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the Lord a lamb a year old without defect, 13 together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah of the finest flour mixed with olive oil—a food offering presented to the Lord, a pleasing aroma—and its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine. 14 You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. It must be a year old. 13 You must bring it together with its grain offering. The grain offering must be 16 cups of fine flour. Mix it with olive oil. It is an offering that is made to me with fire. It has a pleasant smell. You must offer a drink offering along with the burnt offering. It must be a quart of wine.
