And whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;

11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols,

So do to Jerusalem and her idols?

12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord hath performed his whole work

Upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem,

I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria,

And the glory of his high looks.

Isaiah 10:10–12 — New Living Translation (NLT)

Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?’ ”

Isaiah 10:10–12 — American Standard Version (ASV)

10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, whose graven images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria; 11 shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem and her idols?

In the same way, I will take Jerusalem and its gods.’ ”

12 The Lord will finish everything he has planned to do against Mount Zion and Jerusalem. Then he’ll say, “Now I will punish the king of Assyria. I will punish him because his heart and his eyes are so proud.
